PLAYERS…take ownership of your game! So many players miss this or start thinking like this too late in their playing career. I see players often driven by their parents to go out and shoot or doing something because their friends do it. If you really want to be a dedicated, skilled basketball player, take ownership and make it yours!
-Set your own goals. Write them somewhere you can see them everyday. This may be “making the team” or “playing in college”, but put intention to it. -Understand you must work to get better. You have to put time and sweat into your game (in all areas) to grow into a better player. Bottom line- no shortcuts. Own the work. -Understand what your coaches want. A lot is in your control that you give away because you are simply not thinking about it. Listen. Be in great shape. Give eye contact. Work on your strength and athleticism. #getbetter Comments are closed.
