High Country Hoops Classic
Details: Certified refs, Concessions (Please do not bring outside food into gym)
Gate: $10 Adult (Ages 5 and under free)
**Two coach passes will be provided to each team
Game Rules:
-3 game minimum per team; Please be prepared to start all games ten minutes prior to scheduled time.
-Two 13 minute halves (4th grade teams will play 12 minute halves). Warm-ups and Halftime: 3 minutes (any changes made will be communicated.)
-Timeouts: 1 full and 2 thirty second timeouts; 1 extra thirty second timeout for overtime period
-Overtime: Sudden death (Free throws count).
-Home team should provide official scorebook and game ball. First team listed is “Home Team”.
-Running Clock: If a team gains a 20 point lead, the clock will continue to run through free throws and dead balls. It will stop on a timeout. It will return to normal stoppage if the lead falls to 19 or below.
-Officials will call high school rules. Free throws will be played on the release.
-All Girls & Boys Grades 4th-6th Grade games will use the 28.5 basketball. Boys Grades 7th and up will use 29.5 basketball.
Tiebreak for Brackets:
-head to head
-point differential for teams in tie (max 20)
-coin toss
