With a new school year beginning, today’s share is a few “bold aspirations” I recently read. These apply to us all, and shed light on some common struggles we all face in trying to be our best.
Bold Aspirations: 1. Acknowledging that fear is a very normal emotion, and that we must face it and rise above it to achieve what we most want. What we most want is on the other side of fear. Take the leap. Fear doesn’t mean stop. 2. Acknowledging that failure and adversity are an inevitable part of the process and allowing those experiences to be learning and growth opportunities. Trust in growth, and understand it feels like a speed bump. When we come up short, we should push harder. (We call this “Next best action”) 3. Choosing to be around people who add value to your life and not spending time or energy on those who don’t. This may be the most important aspiration for young people. We are all influenced. Choose the right people to place in your life who influence you to be better everyday! Hopefully we can remember and practice these aspirations for a deeper understanding of ourselves. We are halfway through August… just think where you could be by mid-October! #getbetter Comments are closed.
