Make sure you…
-Practice your shot (REPS) and hone your form. It must be simple and repeatable!
-Set a weekly goal for getting shots up. Maybe it’s shoot every day. Maybe shoot 500 shots a week. Depends on your age and development, but the best shoot consistently and shoot a lot.
-Track it. Write down your shooting workouts and count your makes and misses. Tracking your improvement will greatly increase your commitment.
-Build from a foundation. There is no reason to shoot from deep before you have great and repeatable form from short range. Trust the process of building a great shooting foundation. Earn the right to add range.
You want your teammates and coaches to trust you to hit a big shot. Put in the work. Build the consistency and confidence to call yourself a SHOOTER!
